So glad you stopped by and looking around! I fully believe that art is soul, that words can heal, and that beauty is all around us. We are all born with a certain creativity in this big world. Whether that is cooking, music, gardening, decorating, dance, travel, gathering, writing... the list can go on. Like many other creatives, I feel like I belong to all of these in a sensitive and deep way.

 

I have been a professional artist for over 20 years. I grew up with my high school sweetheart in Ohio and then Texas and now Colorado. We will celebrate 36 years of love and adventure this year!  We also have two beautiful daughters. One is a teacher and the other in college studying to be a therapist.

 

What have I done professionally? I worked in the children’s market for years because that is the season I was in with sweet littles. I have painted wall murals (even a mural floor!), personalized canvases on Etsy, custom furniture for children’s rooms, ceramics and loads of hand lettering, watercolors, oils and illustrations.

 

I currently sell my art through a beautiful home decor shop called Interior Delights in Parker, CO. If you are local, stop in! I have had my children’s art manufactured and sold in over 600 big box retail stores across America. Thank you Hobby Lobby. 

 

All my paintings and designs come from my heart. Each one unfolds in a simple, loose and organic way. They represent my life really. All ups & downs and all-arounds. Within the words, the soft colors, the movement and feel - I can tell you about a time in my journey because they have been a part of me becoming who I am. 

 

I believe words have the most power in our world. I try to choose them carefully in my paintings. Each scripture, poem or saying is attached to an experience or moment of mine. It’s a lovely gift to carry special words and sayings around with you in your heart and put them in the spaces in your home to reflect what you believe or desire in your days. 

 

May they encourage, comfort or inspire you or someone you care about. 

May they bring a beautiful light, peace or calm to your spaces and days.

May they breathe life and love.
